My Top 10 Fav WDW desserts

Every trip Disney inspires a sweet craving. It's hard not to after smelling the Cotton Candy from The Confectionery, or the Caramel from Karmell Kuche in Germany. I've eaten at numerous places in Disney, and they all have amazing desserts, but these are my personal favorites.

My Top 10 Favorite WDW Desserts
Not in any particular order

1. Nutella Waffle Sandwich- Sleepy Hollow

I can go for a Nutella Waffle sandwich at any time of the day at Magic Kingdom. The stand is right next to the castle, and they offer sweet waffles and funnel cakes. I usually grab one in the morning for breakfast, but I also love to get one while Celebrate the Magic is going on, right before Wishes starts.

2. Zebra Domes-Animal Kingdom Lodge

If you have ever stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, then you know what the Zebra Dome hype is all about. These zebra-glazed Amarulla mousse treats can be found at Boma and Mara in Jambo House, and you can even order a jumbo one for a special event!

3. NY Cheesecake-Amorette's Patisserie
Best. Cheesecake. Ever. That's the best way to describe it. I love everything at Amorette's because you really can't go wrong. My second favorite dessert is the Tokyo Bay, but this is all about that delicious, perfectly sweet and creamy, cheesecake.
4. The Coral Reef Dessert Duo- The Coral Reef
These are the top two desserts on their menu (in my opinion), and they're delicious to share, or enjoy on your own. The J + B Mousse is a black & white mousse (chocolate Jack Daniels and vanilla Baileys) atop an Oreo crust and garnished with a Caramel crisp. But this wouldn't be complete without the Caramel Turtle Cheesecake, it's exactly like it sounds. Cut into this creamy cheesecake and a caramel pecan ganache center will ooze out. And neither one is complete without a grand view of The Living Seas aquarium.

5. Ice Cream Sandwiches- L'Artisan de Glaces

The Macaron Ice-Cream sandwich and the Brioche Bun Ice-Cream sandwich are both my go-to snack on a hot day in Epcot.
If you love macarons, then you'll love this frozen treat. The sandwiches are usually seasonal flavors, but the Strawberries and Creme one is my favorite. Strawberry and Vanilla IceCream is sandwiched with jumbo pink macarons!
The Brioche Bun can be enjoyed in any season because your choice of ice-cream and sauce is sandwiched between a sweet Bun and pressed to make a warm on the outside, cold on the inside, delicious snack.

6. Gourmet Chocolates- The Ganachery
                                          I love the new additions to Disney Springs, but this place has a special place in my heart. I did make magic in this apothecary-style shop for half of my program, but I truly think they have the best chocolate ever. Dark, milk, or white chocolate, they have it all. A box of ganache-filled chocolates is the perfect gift for the person who has it all, and some of the 16 flavors change seasonally for delicious chocolate all year long. It's an itty-bitty store right across from The Hangar Bar, but if you're ever in the Springs, grab a chocolate, watch the chocolate-making happen, and repeat (;

7. Jumbo-filled Cupcakes- The Contempo Cafe
                       Pineapple Dole Whip Cupcake
One of my favorite Disney traditions is taking the boat from Ft. Wilderness to The Contemporary to watch Wishes! We usually swing by the Contempo Cafe before the fireworks start to grab a late night snack. I usually go for one of their Gourmet jumbo cupcakes! These cupcakes are different from the jumbo ones in the parks because these are filled and frosted with delicious seasonal flavors!

8. The Cronut- The Refreshment Port

There are so many delicious snacks at EPCOT it's hard to chose my favorite! But this is one that you can enjoy all year long, and is always served WARM. (Insert heart eyes emoji). Cronuts are a cross between a croissant and a doughnut, and this one is dusted with cinnamon sugar and can be order A LA MODE......Yes, you heard that right. Wanna hear something even better? You can get one as a snack if you purchased a Disney Dining Plan!

9. Mickey Rice Krispie Treats- All across property

WDW Rice Krispie Treats are as legendary as Mickey's Premium Ice Cream treats. You're destined to come across these goodies anytime you visit Disney, even if you're not visiting the parks. Whether you like your rice krispie covered in chocolate, dipped in sprinkles, or extra large, Disney has them all!

10. Frosted Cinnamon Bun- Gaston's Tavern

Gaston's tavern is one of the new additions to Fantasyland, and it is my favorite place to relax in between attractions at Magic Kingdom! This cinnamon bun is the perfect size to share, and tastes delicious with a Lefou's Brew (A delicious frozen apple cider drink)!
